BIO

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökçen Aydın-Dalarslan completed her Ph.D. in 2017 in the Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance, and Psychological Counseling Program at Middle East Technical University (METU). Between 2010 and 2017, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching (ÖGEM) at METU. Her research interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychological flexibility, values in life, academic achievement, and motivation. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance, and Psychological Counseling Program at TED University, Faculty of Education.

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION

This seminar will focus on how to enhance psychological flexibility, a life skill that can help individuals cope with negative thoughts.
