BIO
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda Barutçu Yıldırım is a faculty member in the Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program of the Department of Educational Sciences at Middle East Technical University (METU). She earned her bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University in Science Education, and her master's and Ph.D. degrees from METU's Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program. She conducted her postdoctoral research at Indiana University.
Her research interests include university students' academic and social experiences, close relationships, cyberbullying, online psychological counseling, ecotherapy, and the effects of climate change on mental health.
