PROF. DR. OYA YERİN GÜNERİ, DIRECTOR

Oya Yerin Güneri is a professor in the Department of Educational Sciences and Director of the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching at Middle East Technical University. She received her B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program at Middle East Technical University. Her research interests include university counseling centers, school violence and bullying, career counseling and development.

ASSOC. PROF. DR. YEŞİM ÇAPA AYDIN, ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Yeşim Çapa Aydın is an assistant professor in the Department of Educational Sciences and Associate Director of the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching at Middle East Technical University. She received her B.S. degree in Biology and Science Education at METU and earned M.A and PhD degrees in the field of Measurement and Evaluation in Education at The Ohio State University. Her research interests include applied measurement/ statistics, teaching statistics, teacher education, self-efficacy, and self-regulation.

DR. PINAR ÇAĞ, SPECIALIST

Pınar Çağ is a specialist in the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching. She received her B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program at Hacettepe University.  Her research interests include marital satisfaction, social support and romantic relationships. 

DR. ESRA ERET ORHAN, EDUCATIONAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL COORDINATOR

Esra Eret Orhan is an educational and instructional planner in the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching.  She received her B.S. degree at Middle East Technical University, Department of Foreign Language Education; and earned M.S. and PhD degrees in the Department of Educational Sciences, Curriculum and Instruction Program at METU. Her research interests include pre-service teacher education, curriculum development and evaluation, instructional planning/design, physical learning environments, and teaching methods-techniques.

DR. FUNDA BARUTÇU YILDIRIM, RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Funda Barutçu Yıldırım is a research assistant in the Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching. She received her B.S. degree in Science Education at Boğaziçi University and received M.S. and PhD degrees in Department of Educational Sciences, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Program at METU. Her research interests include  student adaptation to college, college experience, success barriers of university students,  and close relationships.
