Dear Graduate Students,

The Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching (ÖGEM) will launch a hybrid (in-person and online) writing community titled "Graduate Writing Community." The community is designed to increase your productivity and provide a supportive writing community environment as you work on your thesis or other academic writing projects.

Participants can join either face-to-face (ÖGEM Meeting Room) or online (Microsoft Teams).

Date: From November 21, 2025 to December 26, 2025

Schedule: Every Friday from 10:00 to 12:00

Location: ÖGEM Meeting Room, MM Building, 4th Floor, Room 425 (for face-to-face participation) & Microsoft Teams (for online participation)

Online Participation Details:

To participate online, please fill out the form and Teams connection information will be shared with you.

Structure:

• First 5 minutes: Set and share your writing goals on a shared online board
• 1 hour 50 minutes: Focused writing session, Participants may take optional micro-breaks (e.g., 25 minutes writing + 5 minutes break).
• Last 5 minutes: Share progress & set next session's goal
